Why choose us?
We’re a successful family business that has been operating out of Pomeroy Street in New Cross since the 1950s. During that time, we’ve learned a thing or two about keeping customers happy and staying ahead of the competition. Here are some of the things that set us apart:
You won’t have to pay a deposit unless you choose to upgrade to one of our low emission vans. We’re serious about saving you from extra costs.
No credit checks
You don’t need to fill out lots of unnecessary paperwork just because you want to hire one of our vans. Hiring from us is quick, simple, and hassle-free – just the way hiring a van should be.
You’ll know exactly how much you’ll pay when hiring a van from us because our prices stay the same. There are no hidden seasonal or peak charges to worry about.
You earn credit every time you hire from us and after five hires you can put it towards your next van. Depending on the amount you’ve earned, it may even be free.
One-day weekend hire
You aren’t forced to hire a van for longer than your need. We open 7 days a week so that you can hire a van when you need one.
Low insurance excess
On the off chance that something happens, you’ll be protected from high costs because the excess on all our standard vans is set at £500.
24/7 drop off
You can return your van whenever you need to – you don’t have to worry about sticking to our opening hours. Simply follow the instructions that we’ll provide when you come in to collect your van.
You have plenty of choice when hiring from us, including the option to upgrade to a ULEZ-compliant van. Plus, our large fleet means that there’s a good chance we’ll have a van ready for you if you’re in a hurry.
Ready to get started?
The hiring process is simple and straightforward.
You just need to provide the following four items when collecting your van:
A valid UK or EU driving licence
It’s obvious but it’s still easy to forget. Your licence needs to have been valid for at least two years and if you have an EU licence or a UK paper licence rather than a photocard you’ll need to bring additional photo ID.
Proof of current UK address
This doesn’t have to match the address on your licence, it just needs to be something official like a recent utility bill, bank statement, or a letter from HMRC. You can show us physical or digital proof and it’s best if it’s from the last three months. If you are an EU licence holder, you’ll need to be a UK resident.
A debit or
We don’t accept cash so you’ll need to have a card that you can use for payment. You’ll be asked for payment when we call you back to confirm your booking so it’s helpful to have your card details to hand.
